ABOUT AMÉLIE
"My work is inspired by a constant pursuit of harmony. Each of my jewelry pieces is conceived as a creative project whose organic unity must be total."
After Applied Art studies and work experiences in the fashion and luxury industries, Amélie Viaene gave reality to her lifelong passion by graduating from the Haute Ecole de Joaillerie in Paris. She joined the creative teams of several Parisian jewelers as a designer before turning independent in 2005 and creating her namesake brand.
Amélie Viaene imagines contemporary jewelry with free and organic volumes, looking to the future. Each piece is thought, designed and crafted by hand by the designer.
In recognition of her expertise, she was appointed in May 2016 to represent French crafts at the G7 Craftswomen Summit in Tokyo, the first global summit dedicated to the place of women in the Arts and Crafts. The same year, she received the Grand Prix de la Création from the City of Paris, in the experienced crafts category. In 2017, she joined the laureates of the Banque Populaire Foundation's prize, which supported her development projects and she obtained the "Made in Paris" label.
After exhibiting her creations at jewelry shows and pop-up stores, in 2018 she opened her own workshop-boutique in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Since September 2024, Amélie has decided to move to the countryside to devote herself to stone sculpture, while continuing her work as a jeweller, dividing her time between her new workshop and appointments with her customers in Paris.
